This area features several globally imperiled ecosystems, including a pristine and extraordinary mix of salt marsh, freshwater wetlands, maritime forest, and fire-adapted longleaf pine habitats that attract a variety of birds.
We will be meeting at 9:00am at the Chevron gas station at the Woodbine exit 14 off of I-95. When you exit, make a left onto SR25 to the Chevron, and we will meet in front of the hop-in store. This will also be the last chance for restrooms, as there are none on the WMA. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to park and assemble!
