Each February, for four days the world comes together to admire birds during the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). Participants spend time in their favorite places observing and counting as many birds as they can find and report their findings.

About the Event
Each February, for four days the world comes together to admire birds during the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). Participants spend time in their favorite places observing and counting as many birds as they can find and report their findings. This helps scientists better understand global bird populations.
In as little as 15 minutes notice the birds around you. Identify them, count them, and submit your counts to help scientists better understand and protect birds around the world. If you already use eBird or Merlin, your submissions over the 4 days will count toward GBBC (February 13-16, 2026).
You may participate from the comfort of your own backyard if you prefer, but Camden County Audubon will also be hosting a local field trip for anyone that would like to participate together! Spend your Valentine's morning doing what we all love the most...birding ❤️ We welcome anyone to join us!
