About the Event
This area features several globally imperiled ecosystems, including a pristine and extraordinary mix of salt marsh, freshwater wetlands, maritime forest, and fire-adapted longleaf pine habitats that attract a variety of birds.
Meeting Location Address: 2040 E Tenth Street, Woodbine, GA 31569. About 15-20 minutes from St. Marys/Kingsland
Meeting Details: We will be meeting at 9:00am at the Chevron gas station at the Woodbine exit 14 off of I-95. When you exit, make a left onto SR25 to the Chevron, and we will meet in front of the hop-in store. This will also be the last chance for restrooms, as there are none on the WMA. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to park and assemble!
After we meet in the parking area, depending on how many people come, and if anyone is willing, we will try to consolidate into fewer vehicles before we drive through the area. 4-wheel…
